Assuring Hospitals that Hot Water Supply is Maintained with Extreme Care

This week's achievement: fully refurbished boiler valves make it back to St James's University Hospital, Leeds, within 48 hours thanks to our dedicated service team.

Every day, hospitals require a huge amount of hot water for essential tasks like preparing food, washing patient clothes & sheets as well as heating. The boiler is also required to sterilise medical equipment. The steam created by the boiler is pumped into an autoclave steriliser, where doctors and nurses put equipment to be thoroughly cleaned and kill any germs.

The Blackhall Group has been manufacturing and servicing boiler valves since 1904.

A special mention goes to team leader Richard and apprentice Ashley for going 'above and beyond' in keeping the NHS operational.
