Vacuum Jacketed Valves
Blackhall’s bellows sealed, vacuum jacketed control valves are designed for zero leakage and to remain frost free at operating temperatures. They are alse available with bellows that prevents the liquid from coming into contact with the valve stem. The stem is only moving part in the valve; friction from operations produces heat, which could cause evaporation of the liquid product. The unique zero leakage design and use of the bellows eliminates the potential risk of fire, explosion or environmental and personnel exposure and blocks heat from the liquid to prevent vaporization. Blackhall Cryogenic Vacuum Jacketed valves are manufactured with wide range of end connections and material combinations. They are available in sizes from DN15 to DN200 (1/2″ to 8″) with operating temperatures in the range of -196’C to +65’C.
