How the EPD Works
The EPD is a pneumatically actuated globe valve linked to a pilot pressure controller and a calibrated rupture disc. When the pressure exceeds the preset burst point, the disc ruptures—this action depressurises the pilot line, activating the actuator cylinder and closing the valve immediately.
