Trusted in Cryogenic Applications Since the 1960s
Blackhall Cryogenic Valves – Reliability at the Coldest Extremes
With over 60 years of experience, Blackhall Engineering has earned global recognition for its cryogenic gate, globe and diverter valves. Used in air separation, LNG transport, and liquid gas storage, our cryogenic valves meet the highest industry standards. Rigorous clean room testing ensures every valve performs flawlessly in ultra-low temperature conditions — delivering exceptional flow control, safety and longevity.
Certified for Industrial Gas Applications
Blackhall cryogenic valves are built to handle extreme conditions in air separation, hydrogen, oxygen and LNG operations. Manufactured to international industrial gas specifications, they deliver safe, leak-tight operation across pressure classes and media types.
British Built. Globally Trusted.
Designed and engineered in Britain, Blackhall cryogenic valves are operational in over 80 countries. Our customers trust us for engineered reliability and long lifecycle value in mission-critical cryogenic service.
Why Blackhall Cryogenic Valves?
Engineering excellence in cryogenic valve design — for safety-critical gas, LNG, and industrial separation systems.
Decades of Cryogenic Expertise
Our cryogenic valve heritage spans six decades. From -196°C LNG to helium and hydrogen applications, Blackhall valves are engineered to control, isolate, and divert cryogenic flows with precision and dependability.
Tested for Total Integrity
Each valve is rigorously tested at our clean room facility — including helium, pressure and leak integrity validation — ensuring every component meets the demands of industrial gas standards.
End-to-End Service & Support
Our Cryogenic Valve Clinic provides refurbishment, maintenance and technical consultancy to maximise valve lifespan and operational efficiency — wherever your cryogenic systems are deployed.
Engineering Excellence
Our valves are engineered using advanced testing methods and simulation tools to ensure superior performance in critical environments.
CFDA
Simulates internal flow dynamics to optimise valve performance and fluid efficiency.
FEA
Validates mechanical integrity using finite element stress simulations under extreme loads.
Seismic
Confirms vibration and shock resistance under seismic and extreme environmental conditions.
Built on Trust. Proven by Standards.
Quality Standards
The Blackhall seal of quality guarantees the highest level of inspection, testing, controls and attention to detail. With our continuous improvement programmes, we take all necessary steps to ensure we deliver on our promise: high-quality products and unrivalled customer service.
Our quality management system is continually audited and assessed by both customers and external authorities. Each valve is identified by a unique serial number and all shell and trim materials are traceable to the original material certificate. A data book of the certificates and quality documents of the materials used can be provided for each valve.
